SEPTEMBER SUNDAY GATHERING

Once a month we have our Sunday Gathering this month is on the first week of October. I wish that I have 12 leader as well as Jesus did. I thank God that I will have 12 leader as Jesus also has 12 leader. And on this gathering the Lord fulfill my desire the Lord brings all the 12 leader together in this gathering.

Sunday Gathering at A&W Depok Mall

Last Sunday (August 30th), we did our gathering meeting at A&W Depok Mall. All groups came to this gathering and the leader of the skateboarder group came to me and said that there will one skateboarder moslem will join this gathering and his name is Texas (just a nick name). I'm exciting but I know it will hard for me to preach. So, before the preaching I whispered to him that please do not feel offended because we will talk about our christian faith in Christ and some topics around church. He said that its okay I knew it before that is why I still coming to your gathering and I'm not in fasting so its okay, I will eat together with you.

"Safari Blessing Trip"

Last Wednesday - 26th of August, all the communities went to slum area at The Menteng Pulo Funeral. We focus to bless especially the children with snacks and goody bags also clothings. We arrived there 2.30 pm because the event will be start on 3 pm and we have to finish it before 6 pm because some of them are moslems and they are doing fasting for Ramadhan month. We are so excited when we got to the place. In a house of 4 times 3 square meters, full with children who have been waiting for us. They were so exciting when they saw us, they shout and yel to welcome us.

We did some preparation before we start the programs. Fisrt, we want to play with children and we have prepared some exciting games for them, we also bought some gifts for the winner and other children as well.

This event was really awesome! All the children and their families enjoy so much. Everybody were laughing because we share the love of Christ. We felt that all our effort to make this happen was really a pleasure we want to become a blessing for the needy people. We could see people are hungry for a relationship with God and for His love. Our heart were burning for the passion of Christ and we pray, Lord make them believe the One who gave His life to human kind so that people will die but will have an ever lasting life through Jesus Christ the redeemer.

As we give the goody bags to the children we thought that for us maybe it is nothing but for them it is really mean something special because it comes from the relationship of the heart.

Pray for the Sick

Yesterday afternoon after our Sunday meeting at Dunkin Donuts, I went to house of Retno who is a member of Companion. She needs prayer support because for almost 1 year working in her new office, she always got sick. And many times wasted her time for work because she had to take some rest. Sometimes she got headache and feeling nauseous even throw up. And she ever got bad pain in her ears then recently she got fever for almost 2 weeks only because of there is infection in her teeth and affected her stomach.
That is why I decided to pray for her with my husband Eddy.
So after church, we headed toward her house and pray for her. We pray for healing power come inside her all over body and we also make a prayer for deliverance.
And God is so awesome because He manifested His present and His power and also His anointing so real when we pray for her!
Unfortunately, we didn't take any picture of that moment! There is power in prayer in unity!
Alleluia! Praise the Lord!

New XO Group in Depok

On Friday 10th July, 2009 the HIP Group open a new groupin Depok City near by Margo City Mall. It was so amazing because 13 people were in that house group service. We did it in the morning 11 pm by the request of the house owner. And thank God they want to have house group service one a month.

Yesterday with my new skate board I'm going to the Margo skate board park. Not all of my friend were coming maybe because of holiday they are going some where outside town but thats okay because I met new friends and we hang out together. Next week I'm thinking a new idea...let see!?

Meeting @ Plangi with Lalan and Pingkan

Yesterday after the sunday meeting at Dunkin Donuts Cafe than the Companion has another meeting with two new people Lalan and Pingkan and I shared the vision of xo generation and they are very interesting especially Lalan, she wanted to joined with companion and she invited my husband Eddy to preach in her church on August 15th. That was amazing, we will always bring an extra ordinary life for urban people (a person who live in the city) for Jesus Christ, we are very exciting!

<<<< This is me and one of my group, Lisa. We're meeting at Depok Town Square in Saturday 20th June, 2009. We're just about hang out together, and she told me everything about what's her problem now. She told me that she's not really like her church now, because there's someone in her church that like to make a gossip about her and her family. And it's really make her disappointed and angry.

<<<< This is me and one of my group, Ayu. We're meeting also in the same day but in different place and different time. We're meeting at Ayu's house. And in there we're just chit-chat and ate snack together. She's not a Christian, but she's like to talked with me, eventhough i'm Christian.

Sunday Meeting (May 17th, 2009)

We just finished our long Sunday Meeting. We did outreach to Hiro “Man from Japan…Oh, Gituuu!” Its very excited look at the picture below…awesome!

And after that we met with someone from Hery’s Office Group, name Josh. He wants us to pray for his house to be sold quickly, so we went there and then…thank God he brought us to Pizza Hut Restaurant. We are so blessed today and we are so happy because we had an opportunity to manifest Christ’ life to Hiro and Josh. Take a look at this picture. This is after we ate Pizza Hut…Yummy!

Sunday Meeting (May 24th, 2009)

Today Sunday Meeting is the most longest day we (Eddy&Febry) ever had. We attended three group-first in Dunkin Donuts, second in The Club Driving Range and the third we met Pedro in Izzi Pizza Citos. What a day…? Thank God, He gives us strength. Why we were so excited meeting so many people? Because this is the beginning with a new family. Our desire is too see more soul join with this church in its movement.

Pedro… I think he likes the church where I join now.

Mentoring At Sunday Meeting (May 31st, 2009)

Today I did mentoring to my Leader Group because we have a target for our vision. We don’t want just sit down and have a nice conversation but we will do xtra ordinary work base on what He has given us vision to achieve. We want to see our vision come to pass by working hard.

Febry met her old tambourine students at Pacific Dinner on last Saturday (May 30th). It is a nice and yummy dinner and it was surprised her because her student’s boy friend was the son of a former minister when Ibu Megawati was a President.

Last Wednesday (May 27th, 2009). Companion xogroup meet with Febry at Burger King. This group also a reunion group of her Junior High School friends. They have fun together and offcourse they are not just a meeting to chit chat but they will have reguler meeting starting next month…wow very exciting!

Meeting at Dua Nyonya Reataurant

I was so excited to have connection with my friend in Junior High School yesterday in my group. We met at the swimming pool of Hotel Atlit Century, Senayan. Then after that we went to “Dua Nyonya Restaurant” in Cikini, Central Jakarta. We were so happy and we will meet again before she goes to London, England next week.

After I met with my friend from Junior High last Saturday, on Wednesday evening I met with my friend while we were in Elementary School, Otty. Such a good moment at that time because we’re not only talked about our memories in Elementary but we talked also about our family life each other and even about school for her children. And we ate Pizza ….yumm my favorite… ! And our connection is starting… because she wants to meet me again next Monday. Thank God! It’s really my dream to have connection with my friends not only base on memories but base on God’s principle in life, so we can be blessed by each other!
